The Only
Musically, The Only love it all, but don’t subscribe to any of it. The product of an idea that could only have been come up with in the late hours of Saturday night more commonly known as Sunday afternoon, The Only produce club music for sweaty rooms that can’t be pigeon holed. Labels are other people’s business and The Only leave it that way.
They like to do things big. While busy remixing for artists like Armand Van Helden & Dizzee Rascal and more, The Only have already made their official debut on heavyweight labels such as Ministry of Sound and Onelove. Not a bad place to start for a brand new act.
In fact as the new kids on the block, The Only has managed to generate a bit of a stir amongst industry types. Representation offers, record deals, major gig offers and all this with their biggest records still in the vault!
The Only live performances are not your standard DJ set. It’s DJ music but it’s not a DJ show. And what they do is live… but there aren’t any guitars. It’s an audio visual performance that sculpts 100% customised visuals to their distinct sound.
With a massive show planned for the festival circuit, you can expect The Only to take to the stage joined by a third band member – but not in any of the ways you’d expect. While they are not giving anything more away, rest assured that the debut performance of this show will set The Only apart from the rest of the pack and re-define the live performance experience as we know it!
