Butcher Blades
Twins Grammaticalapple and Goldendelicious created Butcher Blades/ while in the womb. 23 years later they met classical composer LeBruce together they operate heavy machinery by day and spend their nights buildings beaches out of noise.
They DJ’d at the Laneway festival party alongside Muscles, Foals and Yeasayer DJs, and as a LIVE act have played Camp a Low Hum (NZ), Falls Festival, Purple Sneakers NYE, and alongside acts The Naked and Famous, Bleeding Knees Club, Rats Vs Possum, Midnight Juggernaughts DJ’s and World’s End Press.
Their unsubmitted demo’s have been on rotation on FBI and 2SER in Sydney and PBS/ RRR in Melbourne, and have remixes coming out soon for Health, Jinja Safari, Club Feet, and Rat vs. Possum. Their debut single is due out September 2011.
