Athson
Since first putting needle to record in his home town of Adelaide in the early 90's, Athson (aka Heath Jansson) has reinvented himself numerous times - having played everything from rave, drum & bass, techno, house, hip hop and breaks; never confining himself to any one genre.
In 2007 he teamed up with fellow Hump Day’er ‘Steve Lind’. Writing as The Hump Day Project, the duo have gained success through their numerous bootlegs and remixes which have featured in the sets of Utah Saints, Stanton Warriors, Ajax and The Aston Shuffle, as well as official remixes for Sweat It Out, Gulp Communications and Generation.
Athson currently heads up netlabel Troublemakers Music, produces under a variety of aliases, regularly plays at clubs around Australia, and is also involved with hosting the monthly party Big Trouble at the Chinese Laundry... Who needs a whole Army to take over the world when you have just 1 Man?
